Hi darren,
There are several drawings in the exam revision that we are expected to learn. I seem to be able to label them bo problem but re drawing/creating them I am struggling ( not the best at drawing pictures) any tips on this? And is it something that will be expected to do for the exam?
Thanks amy
Hi Amy,
You may be expected to draw some diagrams - I would not worry too much about them being too diagrammatic - so long as you label the correct parts in the approximate proportions and order - it all depends what the question asks!
For example if one came up for asking you to draw a diagram of blood flow through the heart, I would maybe draw something like this (it may also be useful for your revision to think of it like this).
I know its not anatomically accurate but it does show the correct flow of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood flow in and out of the heart.
Anywhere that blood flows through one of the ventricle boxes would be a one way heart valve - you could then add these.
Hope this helps,
Kind regards,
Darren
