Please see the latest update below regarding information about your training,
First an updated response from the RSPH below (blue text only):
RSPH has confirmed that assessments for the RSPH Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Science (Anatomical Pathology Technology) have been delayed due to the current coronavirus pandemic and are following Government advice on this. RSPH will consult with stakeholders to ensure that there is a return to training and assessment for the qualification when it is safe to do so and will produce a new assessment timetable that does not disadvantage any learners who are currently working under very difficult conditions.
What this means in practice is that your training has effectively been put on hold until we can commence your training safely and of upmost importance that ALL students can return to their studies.
We [North Tees] will keep you updated as we continue to plan for our return to normal business and when your next examination (microbiology) visit is due to commence – again we will ensure that you have been given enough notice so that you can prepare for any assessments.
A final note on examinations: All examinations will in future take place at the Centre / venue the candidate was taught at when assessments do eventually commence again.
Any re-sits will now not take place as planned given to current situation – and to better manage the examinations in future [North Tees] and also ensure the integrity of the qualification we will be reverting back to previously agreed protocols i.e. no in year resits (any exam re-sits will now take place on the next cohort’s scheduled examination date).
We will publish a message to this forum for those requiring re-sits with new examination schedules as and when we have agreement.
