Please see the latest update below regarding information about your training,
First an updated response from the RSPH below (blue text only):
RSPH has confirmed that assessments for the RSPH Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Science (Anatomical Pathology Technology) have been delayed due to the current coronavirus pandemic and are following Government advice on this. RSPH will consult with stakeholders to ensure that there is a return to training and assessment for the qualification when it is safe to do so and will produce a new assessment timetable that does not disadvantage any learners who are currently working under very difficult conditions.
Although this communication specifically refers to the level 3 course, it will also apply to all level 4 training (including your end point assessment).
What this means in practice is that your end point assessment has effectively been put on hold until we can commence your training safely and ensure a fair and equitable way forward for all candidates. So as things stand your portfolio assessments will be delayed in the summer until further notice (until we have agreed the new assessment format and corresponding timelines).
We [North Tees] will keep you updated as we continue to plan for our return to normal business and when you can commence your studies – again we will ensure that you have been given enough notice so that you can prepare for any assessments.
