You may already be aware that we [North Tees Centre] are working very hard on having the level 4 HCS (APT) diploma available as part of the apprenticeship programme in order that NHS trusts can use their apprenticeship levy to fund this training.
As part of this work we need to know how much interest there would be if this level 4 qualification was available on the national apprenticeship programme
With this in mind could you please contact me (at the email address below) with name (s) and numbers of staff who organisations would likely support you in attending this training, due to commence June 2020.
For private and public mortuaries, although you may not be able to claim against any apprenticeship levy we are keen to work with you to ensure your staff are able to access this training, albeit by an alternative funding stream. Again please contact us at the email below with numbers and names.
Also include in your email whether or not you are a private or NHS organisation.
We will put all names received onto a provisional list and once the apprenticeship programme is available we will ask you to formally apply – those names on the list will be loaded onto the course as priority candidates.
We look forward to hearing from you soon,
