Can someone please explain further about the CAS forms? What do we need to do with/ on them? On the portfolio evidence level 3, is that everything we need to use in the portfolio?
Hi Charlotte, My understanding is you use the CAS forms as an index for your portfolio. So that when it's assessed, examiners can use it to quickly skip to whatever piece of evidence they need to review, rather than shifting through the whole thing. So for each unit, where it is split in to each learning objective, you would simply write in the free/empty boxes on the right what piece of evidence in your portfolio shows that you have achieved this learning objective. E.g. Say in one unit, a learning objective was "carrying out a viewing" or something along those lines....you would then write on the blank section of the CAS form "Evidence #1:" and then perhaps have a Witness Statement of you carrying out a viewing. Great advice Jemma - yes your exactly right see it as a content page for each unit!
