Good Morning,

During the life cycle of Giardia it will be ingested and replicate in the gut. During this time, the cyst will be converted to a trophozoite, and this will then replicate into 2, before one is turned into a cyst for further infection.

Can you confirm whether the trophozoite reproduction is binary fission?
