Our own marked exam papers

Hi Darren,

I was just wondering if there is any way we can get sight of our own exam papers after they have been marked? I think it would reassure people that they are being marked fairly based on what we have been taught, and also that people could see what they got wrong in order to improve for resits? Is this a possibility you could kindly look into for us?

Kind regards

Thanks for the swift response Darren, it is appreciated.

I think it's a shame, as I think seeing their wrong answers may help people improve and prepare for next time, if they're going to revise in the same way for the resit, then they could potentially have their info mixed up and lack clarity on what they need to improve on... if they think they're right when they answer the question, they are likely to answer the same if asked again :(

My other point about wrong/right answers... my worry is that if there is a discrepancy between our teaching and what is actually the correct answer, and this hasn't been picked up by us and raised during revision, what do the RSPH mark us based on.... the actual correct answer or the answer based on the material we have had delivered? We can't raise it if we havent noticed the discrepancy during revision, and will never know whether we were given the mark or not as we can't access our marked exam paper.... hopefully you can see where I'm coming from, every mark matters to our lovely little group and I'm just worried about missing out on marks :(

For example using the error I just highlighted.... would the RSPH mark us as correct for answering "Corpus Collosum" as that was what was delivered and presumably the answer you would have been expecting having delivered the material, or do the RSPH have their own list of answers and therefore we would be marked as incorrect for stating "Corpus Collosum"?

Kind regards

Bex
