Risk Assessment Assignment - Risk Matrix
Hi Darren,
I was just marking my risk assessment against the assignment guidance and when I saw the risk score matrix, I noticed it looks very detailed compared to my trust's. Ours is simply Green, Yellow, Amber and Red - there's no scoring system, just a short description of what each means. Will this be sufficient to use in both risk assessments or should I use the matrix provided on the assignment guidance? I see on the assignment guidance that it is essential to use our own trust's risk matrix.
This is what my trust's looks like:
Level of Risk
Green – no issues or concerns, all controls in place
Yellow – all controls in place, potential still exists for human error or deviation
Orange - some controls in place, but could be improved as potential for harm still exists
Red – few, if any controls, serious concerns over practice, consideration to stop practice
Thanks in advance!
Hayley

That's great, thank you!
